There are no plans to have
'invited speakers' with expenses paid by the conference and its
participants.
All participants will therefore be
required to cover their own costs.
Everyone is equal at Mangosteen's meetings, everyone's
contribution is important, and everyone in attendance at the
meeting will be there because they have elected to participate
in what is intended to be a true forum for scientific exchange
and creative discussion.
West Africa is however a cheap
part of the world and air fares to the region are very reasonable - so
it will not be an expensive trip - but it may well be one of the most
unique, enjoyable and rewarding experiences you have during your career.
